Comfort Zone

Dear valued readers,

Everyone in this world surely wish to have an established life. And when they have reached the phase, no one will not want to let it go. It is humane nature if a person is unwilling to leave his comfort zone once he is established in life or any similar condition.

To my opinion, a danger may lurk around the condition that it is not about the establishment but more to its circle of comfort that if we cannot control it, will lead us into a ‘golden cage’ trap with its static comfort rules or as it is generally known a COMFORT ZONE.

Being in a comfort zone can make every individual bonded with a risk of being carried away with its contentment to not be able or even worse, would not have a desire in making an innovative development. And that will narrow his perspective in absorbing the dynamic movement outside his zone , enfolds him with negative responses to the changes. In fact, it is just a normal progress in a life cycle.

Thaworn Wiratchant could be a good example when he had to accept his score 78 on the first day at CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Invitational Regional Qualifier at Emeralda Golf Club last July 5th . He must have realized that it was only a miracle that could take him to reach a win on the next round.

And I salute him as it was not a winning he was after but how he could control his ego and came out from his disappointment to close 67 on the second day. It is true that he could not surpass Mardan Mamat as the winner , but to me he was the biggest winner as he was able to do

something that it is hard to anyone in a discouraging condition…RECOVER.

I congratulate Mardan Mamat for his accomplishment to enter the entry list at the big tournament of CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Invitational at Mines Resort & Club Malaysia next October. Congratulation as well to Michael Hendry who could ‘blow away’ Shingo Katayama’s hope to win at Indonesia Open Presented By Enjoy Jakarta.

The same goes to our ‘conquerors’ such as Jamel Ondo, Andik Mauludin, Ayadi Hermawan, Asep Caprie, Denny Wijaya and Suprapto who made the cut.

My advice is do not take the success of making the cut into the comfort zone that will make us forget how to make changes for a PROGRESS.

Happy reading.
